Speak with contagious enthusiasm

This chapter says that “Contradicting ideas are much less likely to arise in the listener’s mind when the speaker presents his ideas with feeling and contagious enthusiasm “. If the speaker aims to speak with more sincerely, it convinces more emotions that arouse thoughts and If a speaker would like to impress an audience, be impressed with yourself first. Your spirit, shining through your eyes, radiating through your voice and proclaiming itself through your manner, this will communicate itself to your audience.
So, Every time you speak, and especially when your avowed purpose is to convince.  It always reminds me of Oprah Winfrey’s impressive Harvard Commencement speech which was 7 years ago. She is an amazing women and she started being humble to respect the audience at Harvard University. I’m pretty sure that she got some pressure when they asked her to speak at Harvard University. Her speech was so successful and became very famous, because of this reason. She spoke with contagious enthusiasm and it really touched the audience. She didn’t use any fancy words or show her well trained oratorical development. None of that.
She put an intense feeling into every word she uttered and her talk was no mere exercise and it was a living thing. Born of conviction and enthusiasm.  I think it still touched everyone, because of this reason.
