Prepare in the proper way

If you want to overcome the storm over the fortress of fear, prepare for it. This is like going into battle with defective weapons or with no ammunition. So, do perfect preparation.

But, that doesn’t mean that I need to memorize my talk. If I memorize my talk word for word, I will probably forget it when I face my listeners. Even if I don’t forget my memorized talk, I will probably deliver it in a mechanical way and not be very natural. We haven’t been thinking of words, we have been thinking of ideas.  So, if my ideas are clear, the words come out naturally and as unconsciously as the air I breathe. I always think of something I want to say, and then I go ahead and say it without thinking of particular words.
